HOW DOES THE MEDICAL OXYGEN CYLINDER WORK?
The medical oxygen cylinder is a device designed to store high-purity compressed oxygen, which is used to support respiratory treatments in patients who require an additional supply of this vital gas.
The oxygen is contained within the cylinder at high pressure and is released in a controlled manner by means of a regulator, which allows the flow to be adjusted according to medical instructions. The oxygen then passes through a humidifier (when necessary) to prevent dryness in the airways and is finally administered to the patient through a nasal cannula or mask.
These cylinders are manufactured under strict safety standards and must be handled properly to ensure safe and efficient operation.
At Air Group Zomac S.A.S., we provide advice on the correct use of the cylinder, safety recommendations, and support so that patients and their families feel calm and supported during treatment.
